	IP 34		Ingress Protection (IP) 34 is a European standard that establishes criteria to prevent the ingress of particles larger than 2.5 mm.
	IP 54		Ingress Protection (IP) 54 is European standard that establishes criteria for protection against shock and vibration, and the ingress of dust and rain. IP 54 is nominally equivalent to the NEMA 3 rating and is primarily for outdoor use.

The IEC’s membership consists of the electrotechnical standards organizations from each of its 51 member nations. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) represents the United States.
	MIL-SPEC / STD		Suppliers provide products or perform services that comply with U.S. military specifications (MIL-SPEC) and/or military standards (MIL-STD).
	UL / UR		The UL Listing Mark indicates that Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has determined that representative samples of the product meet UL's safety requirements. 	VDE		Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker (VDE), the Association of German Electrical Engineers, is a non-profit testing institute that publishes standards and certifies electrical and electronic components. The VDE Mark indicates conformity with VDE, European Union (EU), and internationally harmonized standards. It confirms compliance with the protective requirements of the applicable EU directives.
