Voltage Sensitive Relay

   Over-voltage Protection

The relay has an integrated over-voltage protection circuit. The relay's load-power supplies require adequate protection against over-voltage errors from various causes.

The relay monitors for correct phase sequence.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Phase Unbalance?

The relay operates when the magnitude of one current exceeds the magnitude of another current by a predetermined degree. Voltage balance operates in a similar manner.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Power Factor?

In AC power transmission and distribution, power factor is the cosine of the phase-angle between the voltage and the current.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
Current Sensitive Relay

   Over-current Protection

The relay has an integrated over-current protection circuit.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Undercurrent?

The relay trips when the current drops below the set point.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Current Differential?

The relay responds to the difference between incoming and outgoing current associated with the protected apparatus.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
Frequency Sensitive Relay
A Relay that operates when energized electrically at a particular frequency or within specific frequency bands.

   Overfrequency?

The relay responds to an increase in the frequency of an alternating electrical input quantity.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Under Frequency?

The relay responds to a decrease in the frequency of an alternating electrical input quantity.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Frequency Differential?

The relay responds to the difference between the incoming and outgoing frequency of an alternating electrical quantity associated with the protected apparatus.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
Other Protective Functions

   Time Delay

Relays provide time delay on make, time delay on break, single shot, recycling, and interval timing functions.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
   Synchronous Check (Paralleling)?

Synchronous check or paralleling relays sense the phase-angle displacement and amplitude difference between two voltages. They only permit paralleling when both voltages are equal and in-phase. Generator-to-generator, generator-to-bus (dead bus) and bus-to-bus (double dead-bus) are typical applications.

Search Logic:      "Required" and "Must Not Have" criteria limit returned matches as specified. Products with optional attributes will be returned for either choice.
Sensing / Measurement Range

   Current Sensing Range

Current-sensing range applies to power (phase) and current-sensing relays.

Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
