Most applications which can be solved by standard STI products only require a 2250 or 2350 designation to provide functionality for hazardous areas. The Series GT2250 is certified as follows: Canadian Standards Assoc, CSA/US or CAN; Intrinsically Safe classification for Class1, Divisions 1&2,groups ABCD. The Series GT2350 is certified as follows: Cenelec EExd Zone 1 Group IIc T5 Flameproof. Standard upgrades include: - CSA Certification: Exia CL. I, GROUPS A, B, C & D. T4A (US and Canada) or, CENELEC Certifications: EExd IIC T6 or, CENELEC Certifications: EEx ia IIC T4 Intrinsically safe areas require barriers, which STI is pleased to offer from inventory.
