The PT Series Control Knobs series of control knobs features a soft thermoplastic rubber outer shell molded around a tough thermoplastic which forms the body, top and pointer. The soft feel of the knurling provides a sure grip and a surface which is pleasant to the touch. Because of the two-shot molding process, incredible varieties of color combinations can be achieved.

Shaft hole information

These knobs are available with shaft hole configurations to fit most commonly available shaft sizes and styles. Spring clip, knurled or molded plastic shaft holes are recommended for push-on applications. For set screw mounting, these knobs are supplied with a brass bushing reinforced shaft hole and one set screw.

Markings, decorative caps and inlays

Pure touch knobs are available with three top options: The inlay top is a recessed top that can hold a decorative metal inlay. The inlay can be supplied in spun aluminum or a variety of colors with indicator lines, dots or other markings. The flat top is available with pad printed indicator line, dot or other markings. The snap-in cap allows for online color coding. The plastic caps are available with indicator line, dot or custom markings.
