In addition to the material-from-air filtering that occurs within the
receivers, in-line filters are available to provide additional blower
protection from material fines that may carry over to the blower's
inlet if left unprotected. They are located downstream from the
conveying equipment, in front of the blower package. Modular In-Line Filter The
modular in-line filter contains a manually-cleaned cartridge, and has a
quick-access cover for easy filter inspection and maintenance. The
material discharge gate also opens easily without tools. The filter is
available in 10-inch and 15-inch diameters, and is constructed of
aluminum. Brackets are provided for wall mounting. Pulse-Clean In-Line Filter For
more demanding filtering situations, the pulse-clean in-line filter can
be used where frequent manual cleaning of the modular unit would not be
practical. Its filter bags are automatically pulse-cleaned during
periods when the system is not conveying. The unit is shown with the
optional fines collection kit that fits beneath the filter. It collects
the fines trapped by the filtration system to help keep the process
area clean. Modular In-Line Filter Group The in-line
filter group includes a modular in-line filter, a flexible rubber hose
on the inlet and outlet, and a support stand. This assembly is
available for three-inch, four-inch, and five-inch line sizes. Cartridge In-Line Filter The cartridge
in-line filter contains a cartridge filter element that is accessible
for cleaning or replacement through bolted access plates. The unit is
available in a wide range of sizes. Materials of construction include
carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
