The new PND Series disconnectable, 2.0 mm (.079") pitch, double-row crimp style connector has secure locking device. The PND Series offers compact size and provides stable contact performance under vibration, distortion, and unexpected external forces due to prying or routing of the wires during assembly process. The uniquely constructed contact is easily inserted into the housing with low insertion force. Finger-friendly housing design provides easy mating operations with the headers. The dipping type dual-row construction allows for high density top entry mounting. The header has four shrouded high walls and a secure locking device for wire-to-board applications that require high reliability under adverse conditions.

The PND Series (double row) connector offers 8 to 40 (even number only) circuits. Accommodates wires sizes AWG #28 to #22. The PND current rating is 3.0 amp AC/DC (250 volts AC/DC). Housings are nylon 66 rated UL94V-0. Top entry headers are glass-filled nylon 66 rated UL94V-0. Headers with polarizing bosses are also available to prevent incorrect assembling to PC board. Temperature range is -25°C to + 85°C (including temperature rise in applying electrical current). Header plating is lead free and complies with European RoHS directive.
