SMC series LJ1 electric actuators employ a high-rigidity linear guide, AC servomotor, and feed screw, giving high positioning accuracy at low cost.

The LJ1 series electric actuators are available with three types of feed screws with either rigid linear or slider type guides. Drive screws offer positioning repeatability from ±0.1mm for the slide screw to ±0.02mm for a machined ballscrew. LJ1 actuators achieve higher rigidity by using an aluminum hollow box structure.

The LJ1 can be controlled with SMC's user-friendly and full-function (yet low cost) LC series controller-drivers. The LJ1 is available with a choice of motors from Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, Panasonic, or Tamagawa. NEMA23 adapter plates will soon be available to enable any number of applicable motors.
