This product line expands the current certified solenoid product offerings, which include Ex me II and Ex ia IIC. All these solenoids are US, Canada and ATEX approved for operation in IIC (Hydrogen and Acetylene) environments.

The products can be used in a variety of valve designs including shear-seal, directional control, hydraulic and pneumatic (direct operated cartridge style and poppet style) for applications requiring explosion-proof safety standards.

G.W. LISK can provide customers with just the solenoid operator or with specialized valve configurations.

Specifications for the new Ex d IIC solenoid operator include:

• Size offering: 45 millimeter squared or 50 millimeter squared option

• Nominal watts:application dependent on required "T" rating and ambient Temperature
