CCD 111 - 256 Element Linear CCD

The CCD 111 is a monolithic 256-element linear CCD or Charge Coupled Device. This linear CCD is designed for optical character recognition and other machine vision applications that require high sensitivity and high-speed. In addition to the 256 elements, the CCD 111 chip includes two charge transfer gates, two 2-phase analog transport shift registers, an output charge detector/amplifier, and a compensation amplifier. The transport registers both feed the input of the charge detector resulting in sequential reading of the 256 elements of this linear CCD. The cell size is 13µm x 17µm on 13µm centers.
